Photographs, frames, canvas wraps and montage prints

We offer a fantastic range of framing options, canvas wraps and acrylic prints to display your photographs at their best.  Another idea which you might like to consider is a montage print which will be designed just for you with your choice of images.  These are wonderful for baby photographs because it's often difficult to choose just one image to be framed.  It also means that the detail photographs of tiny hands and feet can be incorporated into your montage print and it's a lovely way of remembering just how tiny those hands and feet were.  They won't be that tiny for very long!  A really nice addition to your beautiful montage is the inclusion of your baby's name, making this a lovely piece or artwork rather than a simple photograph.  The result will be something very original which you will treasure and be proud to hang on your wall. 

Bump to baby, pregnancy, maternity photography Yorkshire

If you are expecting a baby, we offer a fantastic service which will give you the most beautiful and wonderful memories of this very special time in your lives.  A three session package which includes a gorgeous magazine style album to celebrate your pregnancy and your baby's early days and months.  Our maternity photography service begins with a session when you are around eight months pregnant and your husband or partner is more than welcome to take part in this session.  We will use beautiful and creative lighting and posing to show off your lovely bump and if your partner is involved, the emotion and the loving bond between the two of you as you await your new arrival.  The second session takes place before your new baby is two weeks' old and celebrates this tiny new person - a brand new life.  The last photo session is when your baby is sitting solidly but before he or she can crawl.  This is when we can get some interaction and some great expressions, as his or her personality has begun to develop.  It's a wonderful time to be photographed together as a family too.  Photographs are available to buy from any of the three sessions and after the last one, Alex will design your bump to baby keepsake book which you will be invited to preview before we have it printed and bound.  Existing clients and couples whose weddings we have photographed will receive £100 off the usual package price.

We are often asked what's the best age to photograph a baby.  The honest answer is that we're always delighted to oblige regardless of their age.  However, experience has taught us that the best age to take the first photographs is when your new baby is less than ten days' old.  Now we know that as a new mum, probably the last thing on your mind in the first few days following the birth is being in front of the camera, but what more special time is there than those early days and to capture the emotion you are feeling and the bond you have with your new baby is just wonderful and you will treasure these images more as time passes.  This is the best possible time to capture forever that "new baby" look which will be lost very quickly as he or she grows.  The fact that babies of this age usually sleep a lot is an advantage too and this helps us get the best possible photographs.
