I am a full time, professional Yorkshire wedding photographer.  I'm very experienced and I regularly photograph weddings at many of the most popular wedding venues in Yorkshire.  This familiarity helps with the smooth running of your photography on the day, but even when I am photographing a wedding at a venue I know well, I like to challenge myself to create images which are unique to each couple, so you can be sure that I don't subscribe to a one size fits all approach.  Our award winning wedding photography is about telling the story of your special day and whilst we understand just how important the family group photographs are, Janet and I  delight in working for couples who are enthusiastic about their wedding photography and who enjoy working with us to create stunning images which are artistic and creative.  Our contemporary wedding photography, the time we devote to our clients, the attention they receive from us and our personally designed wedding albums means that much of our work comes from recommendation.

We are both professional wedding photographers with the Master Photographers Association and the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers.  Membership of the MPA means that we earn our living from photography, we are fully insured, we have had our work assessed by a professional photographic association and we have each been awarded Licentiateship qualifications with both the MPA and the SWPP.  This means that we have worked really hard to demonstrate that our wedding photography is to a true professional standard and this is your guarantee of a first class service and quality wedding photography.  If your wedding photographs are important to you, choose a qualified professional wedding photographer.

A bit about Janet

Janet is very creative and has a fantastic eye for detail, making sure all the little things which make your wedding unique and personal to you are captured.  As a woman, she sees things from the bride's perspective and she knows what's important to her.  She is a great people person so she runs the administration side of the business, responds to enquiries, answers the many questions brides and grooms ask about wedding photography, she has endless patience and she keeps me in check!  She's fought long and hard to get me to understand the importance of shoes and perfume and she has a great sense of humour.  If that made you laugh, we'd love to hear from you!  As a professional wedding photographer, she will be taking photographs during the wedding day, especially during the bridal preparations, the groom's arrival, the ceremony, the romantic shots, the fun shots and the first dance.  She will ensure that your group photography session goes as smoothly and as quickly as possible and she will look after everyone in the bridal party, especially the couple, to make them feel relaxed and comfortable.  She will take care of the bride's dress, arranging it beautifully and as well as all this, she is a talented professional Yorkshire wedding photographer who captures images from the heart - it's a girl thing!

Our wedding photography style is best described as contemporary.  We believe that this gives you the best of all worlds and we are skilled in capturing moments as they happen, often called reportage, and combining these with traditional wedding photographs which are timeless and elegant, detail photographs to give you a record of all the tiny things which cost a fortune but are easily forgotten as the day flies by, and creative and artistic images which wouldn't look out of place in a glossy magazine.  All these styles will result in an album which you will be very proud to show off.

If you choose a contemporary wedding album or a storybook, I offer a different approach to many professional West Yorkshire wedding photographers.  This approach gives you as much input into your album design as you wish, but takes away the problem of wondering what your album will look like when it's finished.  I will personally design your contemporary wedding album or storybook for you, using the photographs you choose and your album will be unique.  I will design it to be as original as you are and to tell the story of your wedding creatively and beautifully, resulting in an album with a wow factor.  What's more, you will be invited to preview the layout I have designed for you and if you require any changes, I will make them, free of charge, before your album is ordered.  This leaves absolutely nothing to chance and means that your album will be perfect for you.  I could not provide this service if I photographed more than forty weddings a year, so this is my absolute maximum and with this in mind, it's a good idea to enquire about our availability as early as possible.  It's so important to us to delight our wedding photography clients not only with lovely images, but with a fabulous album to cherish.

It's natural that when you are looking for a professional wedding photographer, you do need an idea of prices and so that you don't waste your valuable time, we took the decision to include wedding album package prices on our website and we've tried to make them as easy to understand as possible.  The packages do not represent everything we offer, so if you are looking for something different, please contact us to discuss your requirements.  We will try our best to tailor a package to suit you perfectly and we have special offers for week day weddings and weddings from the beginning of November until the end of March.  We look forward to discussing your wedding.
